Download wallpaper for your desktop
I get the occasional appreciative message from people in far-flung corners of the world, saying that they have used images from here as desktop wallpaper, to remind them of holidays or childhoods spent in my corner of the world. I usually reply and offer a larger version that won't look so fuzzy. So, I have selected some of the more popular images that work well, and made them available as 1024x768 JPEG files that you can download and use on your computer. This doesn't license you to hide the watermark and/or make prints for commercial purposes! I still retain the copyright.
The thumbnails are each linked to the full-sized version: you can either use your mouse menu over the thumbnail to save the link/target straight to your computer, or click to see the full sized image, after which you can choose to save the file as wallpaper.
