Where my photos have been used

As well as hanging on people's walls, my photos have been used in other more commercial contexts, some of which are listed below.

River Cottage Preserves handbook

bottle still lifeI stepped in to help the author who was missing some photos at the last minute before publication! I also contributed quite a number of local produce shots to the River Cottage photo library (hedgerow fruits and flowers, wild garlic, and other seasonal goodies). You can buy the book here.

Long Barn Lavender

lavender fieldI have spent some time on this lavender farm near Winchester in Hampshire, documenting the flowering plants, and the fascinating process by which they are converted into lavender oil for use in soap, perfume, and other home and beauty products. They have used my field and product images on their web site, for greetings cards, and an exhibition stand and press pack at the Country Living Fair.

exhibition stand using my photosWe thought you'd like to know that many people at the fair have been admiring your photographs, and best of all, I hope you will be delighted to learn that your talents contributed to the Long Barn stand winning the Editor's Choice award - i.e. the best stand in the show.

Lyme Bay Winery

walking the dogs: click to see full-sizedLocal images of scenery, fruit trees and fields are used for the 2006-2007 trade and retail brochures for this local company, which makes delicious fruit wines, cordials and ciders. The photos were chosen to remind people of summer visits, and encourage them to buy something to remind them of their stay. The company is committed to supporting local producers and looking after the land, which is very much in accordance with my own views! Find out more at http://www.lymebaywinery.co.uk.

Images for promotional postcards

Three images were used on a set of postcards to be given away from TICs and other similar venues. Part of the campaign to promote the South West as a sustainable tourist destination run by Future Footprints. As a local resident, I donated these to this good cause.
