Fodder maize, seen from Pilsdon Pen in late afternoon sun. I was intrigued by the texture of the rows of corn and the intensely bright specular reflections from the foliage, and the cloud shadows racing across the fields.

As it was a hazy day, I used a polariser to cut down some of the haze, but I like the resultant softness and subtlety of the coloration.

I spent a lot of time getting the geometry here just how I wanted, which entailed quite a lot of buzzing up and down a hill to find the right angle. The right angle meant there were some power lines across the image, so I removed those digitally afterwards, as they were an unnecessary distraction.
